I read both Reset and Reboot (sequel) - so I just want to let this out hahaha
The usual issue in BL - lack of proper communication. Is it really hard to open up to your loved ones? esp if you guys are childhood friends? Shouldn’t that be easier? (Or, maybe some people will say No)
Agree that Miya/Sou is a possessive type so there’re red flags esp when he doesn’t think of Touma’s feelings (they should talk it out if they want to come out or not) - well, it’s good in Reboot they managed to be open with each other.
Touma’s insecurities too. His character is okay for someone with that kind of flaws. I’m just wondering why it seems that he doesn’t believe Sou’s feelings for him in Reset but in Reboot - he believed him. (I don’t understand some of the conversations in vol2 since it’s in JP but I think he realized something when Minase said something to him)
Maki - I read on some comments that he’s a good guy. I agree half of it. But the other half - nah. He’s a good friend however he also has flaws. When Touma talked to him regarding his problem, the solution he said is to break it off since they were not happy.
Chapters before that, it shows he started harboring feelings to Touma so this kind of comment has slight personal feelings involved (IMO). Then, after 6 months he confessed to Touma lol (this is in Reboot btw)
(Maybe to some that’ll be their comments but I think he could’ve suggested to talk it out with Sou first then those 2 can figure out something and if not then that’s it)
Some of his actions show how he feels too (this was noticed by Minase too in Reboot - example - patting the head of your friend— in a diff kind of way— that’s why it’s a lil understandable if Sou will be jealous lol)
Anw, it’s cliffhanger here but in Reboot he properly explained it actually. He said to Minase that what he had in mind is for those 2 to (somewhat) cool their heads off then go back together however it did not happen.
Minase - I actually like this character. Btw he’s a chara in Reboot but I will just include him here. I think he was created to give advice to all of them lol. Touma was comfortable talking with him and he was the one who talked to Sou about confessing what he really felt. (Follow-up by Maki). He was also the one listening to Maki when he admitted that he was the one who destroyed those 2.
Anw, too long hahahaah I still think the last part where Sou said to Maki “thank you for destroying it” is something in the positive side. Hahahaha that’s what I thought. Okay, next please. Need some fuwa fuwa.
