Inwoo angrily shouting "you've never sincerely hated your family" is what I know is VALID outburst. Not everyone can love and care for their parents after being abandoned. Jiho thinking that everything would go well but inwoo is pretty avoidant that's why they had misunderstanding with each other—both of them lack of communication. To be honest, just because they are your own blood/family, you are obliged to forgive them—no it's not; the trauma unheard and unsaid, the abuse, be it physically and emotionally, with that I hope people will realize that. Kids will always be a parents responsibility, not vice versa, that's what parents are; your kid = your responsibility. Very valid right, on the other hand, kissing jiho in public is not right! You knew damn well his insecurities.
The story is deeper and more complex, but it was good. Mental health matters a lot, and it could affect your relationship. Inwoo and Jiho codependent to each other where they fulfilled the other parties' needs, but they forget themselves. What i like about this relationship is how it's flawed, imperfect, and REAL. Relationship will never be perfect unless you're performing it in other perspectives and considering their opinions. If you hate how the habits of inwoo while being depressed are irritating, THEN YOU'RE THE PROBLEM. Depression is not just thinking negatively but your whole life revolving around that where you will feel tired about everything—eating foods, maintaining hygiene, sleeping, ALL AND ALL.
OMYGHOD MOTHERHOOD MENTIONED (chapter 76) Women really have it hard. Men are expected to be the dominant and outside workers while women are for HOUSEHOLD. This gender discrimination irritates me so hard, i fucking hate when it's always men who are appreciated instead of women. Imagine carrying a child, taking care, cleaning over the dirty laundry, rags, and dishes—do everything and MEN, FUCKING MEN ARE PRAISED, AND GLAZE OVER. They see women as CHILD BEARER and not as their equal. This is why i will not have kids and i will not settle for the so-called FAMILY. If this was your standard for what a family should be, then I'm out.

This was so different from the live adaptation. I'm so glad that yutaka left his family for his own good and didn't know that it was all misunderstanding because sometimes it's okay to leave everything behind and start your own life especially carrying a family trauma. Not everything can be deal with talk, it's better to leave it this way and move on. Trauma is haunting and yutaka family should suffer the consequences if they want closure from him. They dismiss his feelings and he carried it until he's adult.
You can see that yutaka was healed when tane and minaru came to his life. He created a family that his own parents can't provide. He took care of a child in his own will they way his parent's lack of.
Minaru and Yutaka relationship is fast paced here but in the adaptation, the longing and yearning were seen compared in the manga.
I love how tane calls him YUKATA and i prefer it more too.
