This is the cutest story I’ve read for a very long time I’m actually in tears of joy after the last chapter. This is so heartwarming, such a healthy relationship. And I absolutely adore both main characters. Ah, I want more stories like that
I’m in love with the original novel, so I enjoyed this one even though the translation has some issues. The story is beautiful, the relationship between the main characters is healthy and adorable. The art is great and the professor looks really hot)))

Idk why is it tagged as “romance”, “cute” and so on, because this one is actually heartbreaking for me. It made me really sad.
The mc is such a nice guy, he’s kind and loving (see how he jumps into the water to save his mother after everything she’s done or regrets not seeing his beloved one last time before dying). But nobody has ever loved him. His mother abandoned him and refers to him as a “gift” like he is some kind of thing, not a person and her own son. His father left him to die and now uses him to get his mother back. His lover is scheming to break his heart for the sake of keeping him near like a dog or a toy. And forcing the mc to take the initiative to break up and shoulder this burden on his own. Did the prince really expect the mc to continue staying by his side as a “brother”, watching his beloved getting married and stuff? Still believing that “they love each other, but can’t be together”? That’s some f*cked up idea. The ending is rushed, so I don’t even know how to react to their sudden reunion after all the sh*t the prince has put the mc through

Such a short, but beautiful story. This was a great read, so emotional and sad at times. I don’t know why is it so underrated, it deserves 10/10. A must-read in my opinion.
