WOW!! THAT WAS SHIT!! Lol
Cons: seme literally thinks the uke looks “VERY YOUNG,” seme caught his brother and the uke having sex when the seme was in middle school and… fell in love with him then? Seme forces himself on uke, they share one interest and don’t talk, classic “uke falls in love because seme is patient” or whatever and NOTHING ELSE, seme is still in high school and the uke is in college (even tho seme is 18 it’s gross), uke has physical relationship with his ex’s brother without knowing bc the seme kinda tricks him, AND PROBABLY MORE
Pros: uh… the art style is nice

I am not very interested in these “past lives” types of stories. Why are they so common in manwha? But I may continue reading anyway because I am so attached to these characters and the story…

You and me both. Not only past live, there's also the we met as a child trope. Idk why those are common

Fr! And I especially don’t like when one of them is a thousand years old or something and met the other as a kid… What is going on with these authors…

honestly they could've ended the story with season 1 and just kept doing fluffy side stories or smth.

im thinking it might have to do with the influence of buddhism on korean culture. bc they have a concept called in-yeon (인연), which basically deals with karma and past lives influencing present connections and explains why people meet.
you could think of the red strings as like a symbolic representation of inyeon
(disclaimer: red strings-- which are originally a chinese concept and not related to buddhism-- have slightly different folklore/meaning depending on whether it's in china, japan, or korea)

Woah that’s super interesting, thank you. I was kind of guessing it might’ve been something to do with things they believe in their country, but it’s just crazy to me how so many of them use this trope in their writing. I still appreciate their crafting of the stories a lot tho
