I’ve been reading “From Sappho to De Sade,” which goes over and analyzes a lot of historical influences on sexology among other things (ie Sappho the greek poet which the name for Sapphic literature is derived from, and De Sade who they named sadism after). I’ve really enjoyed it so far!
