If that's the case then this story isn't a BL but a sport manhwa where Jaekyung is just some character who'll go back to Seoul and continue doing what he already is doing. It's not a story if shit just decided "Nah, I like my belts more than anything" bland and it's not BL. And what's wrong with "love Me, chase Me" trope? It's good and it's not inherently bad.
