Man I love this series and I follow it very passionately but there's been quite a few chapters lately that advance the plot in no way and give zero information and it's starting to get on my nerves. The last few storylines about the servants' backstories were great but they also took forever and this chapter just makes me so mad because there's nothing except a history lesson in here and it's honestly black butler at its worst, I've never been disappointed in this manga but it's getting harder and harder to vouch for it.
I think so too but maybe its just the author preparing for the ending while chasing deadlines
Why did he leave his shoes in the first chapter?
He used them to pay for the food, because he didn't have money
That makes some sense but I don't think anyone would accept used shoes as payment. that sounds kinda gross
