Both of the two male main characters are unlikable. Too much casual murder by both of them for me to want them to have a happy ending. And besides, both Jiskar and Ray are the types to rationalize throwing away otherwise loyal, innocent people on a whim that it's better that they don't have romantic happiness in the end.
