Wow i heard that last chapter will be in about few more chapters.... Here's the thing, the novel is longer and probably drawn out more on Woo Yeon and In Seob's relationship (yes it's kind of messed up I know). Just want to say, Woo Yeon was never intended to be written as a normal person, with normal empathy and moral compass. There will be no redemption story or whatsoever, but as drawn in this chapter, Woo Yeon would have never thought that his life will be so consumed by a single person's existence. While it's true he is shitty to the core, I will quote (more or less something like this) what the president said about him in the novel - he may not be kind, but he will never harm In Seob, let alone thinking of removing In Seob from the equation. Whatever actions he did moving forward from this chapter will always be fixated on In Seob. Whether it's good or bad, it's always because of In Seob.That's how much he puts his entire existence on In Seob. He puts aside a lot of his willfull negligence to cater to In Seob. For us it still look like he's a shitty person, but for someone who's messed up, it's a huge deal.
If you're good with this kind of psychological genre, you would probably like novel. For me, it's good kind of psycho. I am not ashamed to say I enjoy the story. Of course there are chapters that are difficult to read. Is just that it's not easy to find readings like this.
