haven't read this, just wanted to say that the cover looks like Ouran highschool Host Club if it were actually gay
don't get me wrong, I love that she's so tough but i wish I could see more of an effort from her during the fights and stuff.
I wanna be able to appreciate her strength but it looks like everything comes off as easy to her.

after thinking about it a bit more, it's not just Adelaide, generally all physical fights are a bit lacking.

call me insane but, I'm a little disappointed nobody died or lost anything permanently from this battle. Sehun gained additional trauma from having his wing ripped out like that, but physically he recovered it quite easily, immediately after his return, it would've been so sad to see his empires people react to his state, the wings that his people admired, now half-broken and ripped away.. I'm not saying I wish he stayed wingless, I am glad he got it back.
I might just be strange for wishing that the author squeezed out more of that horrid situation out of the main character. (ᵕ,—ᴗ—,)
Ig everybody's got plot armor, including the cute little frog man, I would've been destroyed if that little guy died so I can't complain too much. <3
I recommend you to read the novel if you want more depth. The (retainerd)relationship, world building and game mechanics is well written and deeper.
There are some arc changes in the beginning.
