IM sooooo freaking happy Jaekyung was there! They need to communicate! Both parties suffered enough! Jaekyung abandoned all of his disciplines. He’s drinking, can’t train, had to postpone his return, and is haunted by the fact he’s fulfilling someone’s low expectations of him that “he’s not good enough” (probably abuse from a parent when he was younger. Which makes sense because why would someone who trains as hard as him and is disciplined like him would take a psychological superstition (his jinx) seriously). Like ik we haven’t seen it directly yet but inferring what Jaekyung has gone through isn’t hard to do. I feel bad for both parties and could see how they would both soon crack under the pressure. Regarding Dan, I was happy and suprised that doc was able to work in his field again because I remember he talked about being blacklisted in the city even though he’s extremely talented and diligent at his job. However, it’s like his job became a prison for him because all of his efforts towards caring for his grandmother is in vain. Like I’ve been there and watching a family member die hurts so damn much. Like you want all that time with them but they’re just in a bed barley living. They accept it and be ready to go but we can’t help but be selfish and want a little more time :( when this was happening to me I thought about following my loved one into he after life. It’s irrational but it felt like my world would end with them. It wasn’t suprising to see Dan reach that same point. ┗( T﹏T )┛
