Gotta love the little details of JK's elevated heartrate on his wristwatch after the rides and the changing expressions on the bear (● ̄(エ) ̄●)
................I know EXACTLY where this is going.
Side story more like sequel/continuation of main story (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜
Just wanted to make a quick comment that I really appreciate the little details in Mingwa's art that makes it so appealing to me. The very natural looking veins under taught skin, the subtle reflection of Dan in JK's eyes, the little mammory pooches on the mama dog (the puppies are back!!), the realistic wrinkles of elderly characters, the faint rainbow behind the plane, even the slight change of base coloring in different lighting. Those are just some examples of little things I notice that make the art extra impressive to me. And another way her stories are unique is that her ML's are perhaps the only buff, muscular men in yaoi I've seen that had to work for their physique through constant diet and strict exercise plans, and weren't magically gifted 6 packs ( ̄∇ ̄")
"Kim Dan is on thin ice, I have to do something"
as if you didn't push him out onto the frozen lake yourself like some goddamn shuffle board disc (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜
Okay, I need you guys to do something for me. Go back, and look at those puppies, especially the white one just sitting there like a confused, cute little derp. Let them heal your soul. This is important, guys. Those puppies are so freaking adorable.
Can you imagine if the last page of the chapter read "the end" there? ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ

No matter how much you loved, liked, or hated the story, whether all or parts of it, there's no doubting the talent and creative beauty the author put into this manwha. They worked so incredibly hard, and it absolutely shows! The character designs, the backgrounds, the lights and shadows, the field of depth, the reflections in the eyes, the hair texture, the layouts, colors, composition, all of it is incredible. I personally loved the story, but what made it exceptional was the art. Thank you for your dedication author-nim, and please rest well!
It's rare that I want the 2nd ml to be endgame in a story. it's even more rare that I hope for a non-happy ending where someone dies. but I want both with this one
"I'm not interested in men." But men are interested in you ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Sorry the porn got interrupted with plot the last few chapters everybody, but rest assured your regularly scheduled butt naked uke is back.
Comments are sending me ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ
On another note, seriously all I want is for them to make a freakin big deal that Dan almost DROWNED HIMSELF in the ocean. Don't just be like "at this rate you're gonna bite the dust" like DUDE he is high key sui*cidal please fully comprehend that that's a huge flag that needs appropriate attention
I didn't even think of her being part of this story. And let me tell you, I'm straight but that girl kinda got me ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
I have a random question maybe someone could answer for me. In the original Love is an Illusion I remember Si-wo's parents Dojun and Heesoo arguing about having a baby. Since Heesoo was a beta and couldn't get pregnant, didn't they talk about using a surrogate? And then had a debate about which one of their genes they would use? Did they ever reveal whose they used, or do we not know?
Also, side comment, I honestly kind of wished they made Byul and Si-wo's parents look just a tiny bit older. Even if Dojin and Hyesung "look young for their age" I feel like at least Dojun and Heesoo should look somehow different then. It just feels a little strange to me, as much as I love their appearances (and it feels more nostalgic to the original then), to have them look the same 17 years later, especially when they don't appear that much older than their kids!
