the mental cartwheels that author goes through to create another conflict is so..this genuinely had so much potential but i dont even anticipate updates anymore TT it's gotten so messy??? idk how to even categorize this bcs it doesn't feel like a slow burn but is it??? i usually like slow burns likee that build up and good kind of frustation but this feels like they're just dragging it out
