but if i had a nickel every time a yaoi/bl author writes ML doing multiple chapters of horrendous shit, followed immediately by pathetic af backstory… i’d be buying a second yacht
the scenes are just soooo gratuitous and unnecessary at this point for the plot, for the character development, literally anything u can imagine… its not needed for the story and even if it was a fact of life in this post-apocalyptic universe there’s no need to depict it so violently and detailed again and again and again. this isn’t just poor storytelling it’s a fetish atp (im still tryna finish the series tho..)
we just dropped the plot for no reason and considering their history, the characters interactions are getting beyond the point that i can explain even while suspending my disbelief, HOWEVER. the art is good and the next chapter boutta be juicy af

when people express different opinions than u. this is one of my fav series but if someone comments that it’s too much for them and they’re dropping it i’m just like aight bro you do you. some of yall get so ridiculously mean and defensive over people sharing a different viewpoint. art is meant to be interpreted whether you agree with other interpretations or not. it’s like if someone left a 3 star review on a restaurant and you started tearing them to shreds bc it’s your fav. well damn people got different taste buds and the comments section and review system is meant for sharing opinions. i’m not saying we shouldn’t discuss and have some healthy debate but most of these threads immediately jump to insulting the other person or telling them to “gtfo just drop the series already” okay yeah they are ??? trying to silence any kind of perceived negativity only creates a falsely positive echo chamber. if ur not interested in seeing other people’s reactions just follow ur own advice and don’t read the comments. the aggression and attacks on this platform is getting out of hand
was kinda unnecessary like fym this man chased him down and railed him in the parking lot so bad to the point he bled out from his bootyhole and lost consciousness???? and now im supposed to ship them??? i mean i’ll keep reading but this storytelling/plot kinda random i feel like we clearly established the toxicity of the relationship already and that didn’t really advance the plot in a meaningful way i would have liked MC to be a morally gray character who still sticks to his own values but .. classic yaoi manhwa tropes strike again
