idk if its just me but the meeting the parents and moving in together were both so random and awkward?? likeee if you were both going to move in tgt you shouldve waited for itsu's connection w the parents and such, you cant just go "this is my bf and we're moving together". idk if thats normal or not bc in my country we introduce them in the courting stage and not when we want to live tgt with that person !!!!
it’s a culture shock to you, which is okay. but it’s not awkward because both parties throughly prepared and talked through it. it was fast don’t get me wrong, but it wasn’t impulsive and well planned out. it’s pretty normal in western countries!
however yuki and itsu didn’t demand they were moving in together, they wanted to gain approval and permission for their relationship and the move. both are working college students, who’s parents raised them based on different societal expectations! itsu has far greater life experience and more liberal teachings, while yuki has been raised with her disability in an ableist world. they honestly fit really well imo and having a roommate teaches you a lot about boundaries :)
