This webtoon adaptation despite being enjoyable (the smut to mystery thriller ratio is so perfect like the author genuinely hit a flow state) pales in comparison to the novel, it completely glosses over the depth the MC and ML have and why it’s suddenly so easy for him to not only accept but also reciprocate Yeosan’s affections after the accident.
the dynamics in these stories always annoy me, uke is so smart and is successful in his own right but the seme (always a white blond russian with blue eyes because of course he is) is somehow super humanly strong enough to negate all of the uke's training, super humanly intelligent enough to negate the uke’s education, and of course he’s a rapist because why the fuck not the slop clearly needed more pig feed on top. passion manages to subvert this and it’s still rape to love bullshit lmao.
