Let's accept that Jihwan is toxic as hell, that is how the author wants it, that is how it is, and I am one who accepts that that is the direction the author wants for this story and I am enjoying this ride a lot. Wishful thinking of "oh Sooyung should escape Jihwan" or "Jihwan should leave Sooyung alone" or "he shouldn't be that toxic" should go and read a different manhwa because obviously this is not the plot here. Jihwan is fucked up in the head and he is going to do whatever he wants with Sooyung. I am really intrigued if the author will let the protagonists grow or are they going to get stuck in this victim/perpetrator til the end.
Obviously in read life I would never enjoy learning about somebody treated like this, but in fiction yeah I enjoy a well crafted toxic seme. Gimme more.

Love this story, this kind of toxic behaviour is just so good. The kind of infatuation that you know the other person is scum but you are still weak for him and let him do you even if you despise yourself afterwards. So real, so human, so heartbreaking. I used to have a boy friend like that, I hated his attitude, he used to look for me in between girlfriends and sometimes when he had a girlfriend, I knew he was a horrible person and still, I let him use me because I fell for him when we were teenagers and he was sweet then and wholesome and I really liked him. Anyway at the end I moved to another country and left him behind, it was the only way to separate myself from him because I was too weak to say no. He still kept looking for me and I missed him like crazy but that was the end. So difficult. Why do we let other people treat us like shit?
I'm going to have to reread it in order to enjoy the new chapters ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
