i wish i liked this more i guess. really really classic bl story of promiscuous young blonde and uptight blackhair who worries for him and they're in boarding school a la heart of thomas or kaze to ki no uta but with extra/more explicit gender nonconformity (like j is basically a trans woman but nobody has the word for it yet) the psuedo hetersexual / momson relationship was kinda hmm.. idk. and i wasn't feeling the central relationship so i didn't really care about their years later reunion
