Look, after re-reading martial peak for the second time i came to know that a lot of people are dissatisfied because Yang Yan didn't end up being Yank Kai's woman later, when Yank Kai was so sad about her leaving that he didn't even spend time with Xia Nia Chang and Su Yan after Yang Yan's departure.
But did you guys forget there is a lot more than romance between a man and a woman. And the fact that Yank Kai and Yang Yan went to lot of ups and downs together for more than a decade so ofcourse he's sad when she left because he doesn't know when he can meet her again, also the fact that he'll meet the starry sky great emperor and the Yang Yan he spent time with is forever lost.
Just because they had strong bonds doesn't mean it has to evolve as romance between them.
Personally I like that she didn't end up in the harem.
