i don’t agree with ppl saying mc is annoying with her misunderstandings. She had been ignored by her father for so long. Of course she would misunderstand him everytime he acts towards her. I don’t think she’s annoying at all, this is pretty much realistic. What I don’t agree is with the way her father reacts. Hes been ignoring her, allowing her to grow up as a lonely child but he expects her to not get hurt by it and acts like everythings okay? A child first impression stays with them UNLESS you do something about it. Hes just being an ignorant father who thought he was doing “the best” for her yet completly disregard the child’s feelings. I feel like Mc should express her feelings more, and tell him how hurt she was when her father treats her like that.

Right like I would be hella confused too after my father suddenly started noticing me and treating me right.
