if after expiration date it became poison, it wouldnt be on the market. More likely just become useless. In any case, if you in tight situation, exp meds > no meds at all
Then it's better for no meds rather than expired meds, it could worsen the illness and die depending on the doses. Being in a apocalypse doesn't mean you can just use expired medicine like it's still good for you.
