dorohedero is unrelentingly, skin-peelingly stylish. every facet of this society is grotesque—the muck of the cities, the viscera of the masks, the stink of a corpse hole made from centuries of arbitrary violence. a story that makes you question your tangible identity (are you your body?) through some of the most violent sequences i’ve had the pleasure of reading. crazy ass pacing (positive). funny, horrifying, and tender in all the right places. 10/10
