a mercenary named sword (lol) meets an eccentric novelist at the height of his unemployment. the tonal shifts are abrupt - the fantasy quest, the politics, the religious sects, the plot twist genre shift, and at the heart of it all, the mystery at the top of the mountain. maybe that’s what makes this story so endearing! i’m a sucker for good art and characters that have chemistry lol 8/10
