between the mild homophobia and the teacher/student relationship, there is no reason for me to like this manga so much. and yet. the mangaka has a knack for comedic timing and the art style is so charming and cute… i’m a sucker for yakuza daughter stories. i think it’s a testament to this manga’s wit that it swayed me over, despite my utter disappointment that the ml is her student. at least the romance isn’t too central! 8/10
