sylph biebel has been abandoned by the heroine for the sin of being born a villainess. it’s a familiar premise, but this manga has such an excellent way of setting the mood through the details of the environment, the composition of the scenes, the intricate cross-hatching that makes everything look scratched-up and ominous. it’s so gorgeous and unsettling - what happens when a girl obsessed with stories realizes that she is fated to be a villain? 8/10
