chihiro’s father, a famous katana blacksmith, imparts an important lesson for his son: to create a blade is to be responsible for the blade. this is a story about revenge, grief, and super sick magic sword fights. the manga is really just beginning for now but there is something so charismatic about a good ol’ fashioned sword fight, esp in a somewhat modern setting like this one. the art is awesome and the dialogue is really charming! 8/10
