verna is a son of a count that has knowledge of the catastrophic future. this manga really excels at tone, worldbuilding, and politics. it’s hard to have nobles talk in that slick, roundabout way that belies their intentions, but this manga does it so well! the illustrations are gorgeous, the settings feel so lived-in, the fashion is cohesive and so is the architecture… a gritty isekai that’s easy on the eyes! 8/10
