Guys, I don't think the good boy thing is coming from him directly, but more so from the conditioning he's had from that old bag of bones probably making him take wtv he's doing to him and making him seek praise to know he's doing 'good' in his standards, eww
Adding to the fact that he's not aware of his surroundings rn and is in a different headspace, thanks to that conditioning
