Babe, you made it ABSURDLY clear you wanted to be done with this and when you "found" miss fraud and still went through with that despite the obvious feelings, he took it as a "he really wants me gone" thought and honestly I would, too. If you want ya boy, YOU make the effort to get him this time. Show him you really do care and gtfo out your comfort zone because that's not leading you to kissing the guy! It's the reality.
Honestly, I'm happy he was honest about everything (even if it happened in the wrong sequence), and chose not to kiss him in that moment. And as far as the scammer, I don't think he thought he was completely scamming him since he didn't realize about the whole only partial memory loss. And clearly he likes him, so he's self reflecting as time passes. It's refreshing compared to some of the stories I've read. I just hope he doesn't wait too, too late and end up losing him because of the soul transfer
