I think it is a dark and complicated story that's highly misunderstood bcuz most just focus on the SA parts. It is meant to be thrilling and gut wrenching and show u that love is more than just pure sentiments and gentleness. The setting is literally an apocalyptic world where ranks matter, u can't expect it to be warm fluff
