I just read chapters 1-8 and I'm confused...there is hardly any world building.
I feel like I got thrown into the middle of the story and was expected to already know the characters and backgrounds. I literally skimmed through a couple chapters just to make sure I wasn't reading ahead.
Im a bit disappointed because this could have been a good one. I just think it's a little fast paced and the story isn't thought through enough in my opinion.
