Super cute or whatever. BUT he literally sulked and ignored her in the first place. He basically abandoned her while she was in prison. AND TO HAVE THE GALL TO ACT LIKE THAY oh my god. He’s such a victim
I completely agree that he ignored her, and now he is back like nothing happened. I think she is letting him get away with everything. Why let him out of the hook right after he abandoned her in prison, knowing she ended up there for hopping his sister? I don't feel this story. The female lead doesn’t feel so strong. Sometimes, she is, and other times, she is a doormat.
I mean he was upset cause she didn’t take his offer that if she just lied and said she didn’t know who that dude was they would’ve let her off without prison time. But instead she told the truth and went to prison. To him rejecting his help is like rejecting him because instead of staying together she would have to go to prison. They’re both flawed characters who seem strong but are weak for one another. The whole prison arc was just difference in priorities because to Ian staying together was most important while to Madelyn she can’t turn back on her principles
