What is this obsession BL authors have with characters essentially grooming their SOs?
This story just keeps getting ickier, I’m dropping it.

I called it grooming because it was the shortest way to get my point across. I was trying to describe how obsessed BL authors are with having MLs and MCs who were somehow involved in each other lives since when said ML/MC was a child and the other was an adult. Regardless of the circumstances, I find it weird and I was trying to communicate that in not so many words hence my comment. In this case, Asperger selected Nux after discovering his existence and spent years trying to prepare him for breeding. Even though he wasn’t actively in Nux’s life until the last experiment, he often directly/indirectly shaped Nux’s lives then fucked him, got pregnant for him and ran off with the baby. Asperger has all the power in their dynamic and has used it several times, If that’s not an example of grooming then I dunno what is.
