Chapter 62 of the manhwa takes place between chapters 95 and 96 of the novel.
I recommend typing the title and adding “novel” at the end, as you might prefer one novel website over another. However, here's the one I use, along with the exact chapter. https://azilatl.space/story/tscgasah/chapter-95-2/
I'm not very good at analyzing things, but so far, from what I've seen, the MC seems to have something unusual going on with his sleeping habits or should I say, some kind of symptom? He appears to attack anyone near him while he's asleep.
Also, based on his memories, it seems like his father attacked him, but why? I think it might be connected to his strange condition. Maybe his father was terrified and reacted violently, and that’s when Guwon appeared and intervened.
However, there’s still a question: is that memory truly real? Was it actually Guwon who showed up, or was it just an illusion his mind created to cope with his trauma? If it wasn't Guwon, then the implications are much darker. His father might have been infected and end up attacking him, or worse, he might have killed his own father without realizing it.
(Sorry, it's a bit long. I'm just trying to share my thoughts on the whole situation. I might be delulu)
Guwon literally admitted it
Wait no but that actually tracks. I’ve been side-eyeing his sleep stuff too, like… that’s not normal “trauma flashback” behavior, there’s something else going on. And yeah, the whole Guwon memory—lowkey feels too clean to be real. If it’s a coping mechanism or straight up a false memory… that would explain a lot. Now I’m spiraling with you
I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed this, because I've seen a lot of people not paying much attention to his sleeping habits, especially on how he was spacing out in this chapter, which definitely doesn't seem normal. The way his eyes zone out is the same as when his sleeping habit start to act up. So I feared he might end up attacking the doc, just like how he end up attacking Guwon in his sleep
At this point, I feel like it’s more than just a sleep habit. It’s giving dissociation, like when someone mentally “checks out” because of stress or past trauma. Maybe even something like a split in personality? Like there’s a part of him that takes over when he’s overwhelmed or asleep, and he doesn’t even realize it.
What makes it worse is that the doc keeps trying to dig into him emotionally — which, if this other “version” of him sees as a threat, could totally trigger something bad. Just like with Guwon. It’s giving the same energy as Cozy Obsession
