They’re both to a degree very toxic but the compatibility is 100% and they match each other’s freak so pop off kings.
Also love how the ml is depressed and has anxiety, gambling addiction etc due to his family upbringings. I often see poor ml’s like him trying to be more positive, be kind, be hardworking and all that in these stories which is admirable. But often times in reality i generally see the opposite take place.
I came from extremely poverty ridden family that has managed to thankfully become middle class and no longer has debt issues but my peers and childhood friends are still in very hard family situations and they’re usually like the ml. Trying their best but not exactly going well
