Just saying, rape and green flags don't belong in the same context.

Fiction or reality, nobody without a tragic lack of self-esteem (or self-autonomy through grooming, manipulation, or coercion) would ever choose to stay with someone who raped them, regardless of whether the perpetrator gets a "redemption arc."

(Sorry, I hope this isn't too preachy T_T I know you're being optimistic about the story and characters, but I feel like a lot of authors and readers gloss over this problem as a minor inconvenience when it's really one of the most unforgivable things a human being can do)

I completely agree with you!! it was a complete shock for me that the author went down this path- and I was just hoping that this was an eirly April fools joke as you can tell my my name I hate reading things that are like this

Didn't mean to be harsh or anything! I'm glad you agree. Honestly if this kind of thing is gonna be in a story, I hope authors can add warnings in the first chapter instead of leading us on until the last chapter. I really loved the humor at the beginning of this, but the season ending leaves such a bad taste in the mouth.
