Well hey you never know. The supposed hero of the story turned out to be the villain. The supposed villain of the story turned out to be the hero. Everything is already backwards compared to the game's story. So who knows, maybe summoning the demon king won't result in destroying everything? Or maybe she'll think of a third option.
Or perhaps she had already summoned the DK and befriended him, we still don't know the identity of that creature that was on her lap when she was talking to the illusion she created
