I really hate when a story will just casually introduce racism whether it's like through magical people or whatever it's still racism and then never address it like they make it a main point and then never do anything to like improve the racism within the the society they created. They're just like these characters fell in love and we're going to forget the whole societal structure even though we made it a main point in the story. I'm only a couple chapters deep so hopefully that doesn't happen but I'm feeling like that's not likely.
