Okok i feel like the reason Yun-oh acts the way he does towards Haewon is because he's never had an actual authoritative figure give him the love and care he deserves so when he sees Haewon treat him so kindly while barely even knowing him, he's conflicted about his feelings and falls in love with him because he's never had someone treat him that way. Haewon on the other hand also has mixed feelings but in a different sort of way. When he first rescues Yun-oh it's one of the first times he gets sees him in such a weak, vulnerable state and after that he tells Yun-oh to begin to depend on him because he knows he has no one else to rely on so Yun-oh does. Because of this, they both end up relying on each other wayy more than needed. Yun-oh wants to know everything about Haewon's relationships, who he's seeing, and whether he's busy or not while Haewon wants to know everything about Yun-oh's social life, how he's doing, and whether he's coming home or not. This makes both of them extra needy for each other which is why Yun-oh is surprised when Haewon first experiences his rut. Despite telling each other everything, Haewon has never talked about his rut with Yun-oh (because he doesn't have a reason to). That's why when Yun-oh sees Haewon experience his rut his first instinct is to do anything to help him even if it means having s*x with him. Yun-oh didn't even want to have s*x or do it with him in the first place but Haewon puts him in a position where he can't get out because he thinks he's talking to his partner. Yun-oh takes advantage of that and does IT with him even though he knows it's wrong. Once Haewon realizes he did THAT with him his first instinct is to brush it off which hurts Yun-oh because that was the first time he's done it with the person he loves the most (it's probably not but YK). This makes both of them feel conflicted because despite Haewon having a partner, he still did it with Yun-oh, whether it was an accident or not. And because Haewon brushed it off, Yun-oh thinks he wasn't able to convey his feelings properly so he keeps trying to even if that means stopping Haewon from having his rut with his OWN partner. Overall though, this story pisses me off just enough to want me to keep reading. I'm also really hoping the implied s*x they had was when they were both adults but it's honestly probably not considering that right now Yun-oh is 21 and Haewon's 27.
