but i just have to say, i really feel bad for Lee Sangmin. dude has the most pitiful role ever. no family ever loved him, he was constantly pressured and abused by his psychotic father, and he had to deal with the harshest things in life all alone. sure, there were a few people who genuinely cared for him, but i can’t blame the fact that during his high school days, the urgency for him to get professional help was so out of reach, ironic, considering it was their family business. by the time he realized it and wanted to change, it was already too late. Yeah, some of his friends and even Yeonhee was there, but he never really got the chance. It was beyond repair.
i also feel bad for Yeonhee honestly. She always ended up stuck with miserable guys. In her first life, she was with Jinyun when he had nothing, and now she’s with Sangmin in this state. Girl, pick better men pls lmao. But in the end, I can't say much, because Sangmin is still a killer and a sinner by nature. Still, evils aren’t born that way, they’re made by circumstances. I really believe Sangmin could’ve been one of the best doctors out there if only he wasn’t born into that family. He could’ve just shined on his own.
