The prologue features the rape of a character modeled after Oscar from Rose of Versailles, which feels especially twisted to me. Oscar is (in my opinion) one of the first genderqueer/transmasculine characters depicted in anime, and having Oscar's likeness raped in just the prologue fucked with my head. Having the female lead masturbate to this in the book she's reading really set off my alarm bells and I started to think that maybe this was written by a man. Turns out I was right. And he clearly doesn't know how to write yuri for an audience that isn't also a bunch of straight guys.
As many have said, keep these yaoi tropes out of yuri. The last thing we need to accept in the yuri community are sexualized rape scenes that objectify women (and AFAB people) for cishet male consumption. If I could rate it lower than 1 star, I would.
