What are some plot device's you're quickly growing tired of?

Poor MC with hella rich ML "I hate everyone but you" He/She fell first and fell harder (bc I want both of them be obsessed with each other you can't tell who is more obsessed) LOVE ASS TRIANGLES (lazy plot)
