It was worth it defending Muheun all this time. With this chapter, anyone with eyes can see how selfless Muheun actually was… *insert emoji melodramatic teary eyes here *
I havent read the story yet but I know for sure this is everyone’s fap material
I was once wish it to be better over the time so I tried to read the novel. Dropped immediately after few chapters from last manhwa or so…
Blacksheep kid? Sure whatever typical drama. The moms hate each other? Yeah yeah daily dose of soap opera. Legitimate kid swapping place with blacksheep kid and approved by the parents? Okay, my lazy ass brain can’t keep up with this super mega mind-blowing drama.
Idk if I describe the story correctly or not cos I was so confused all the time.
The stories has no complicated plot at all, but do I hate it? Hell no. Even it got tons of side stories with so little conflict, I still wish for it to have more lol. Sometimes we need to read something light and cute, easy to digest and fun I guess.
For the manhwa, I was amazed seeing the art style, it’s so good but kinda hard to picture Jaekyung as full korean tho? His art scream westerner (I’m aware lot of chars has blond and whatnot, but Jaekyung here really has THE VIBE). Can’t wait to see how the illustrator draw him when he fully act clingy and cutesy around Jihoon later lol
This contains spoiler, pls don’t read if you want to enjoy the story unfolded especially if you want to read the novel later!!
(((And this is just me yapping after finished the story, I know it’s not a proper place since it’s a manhwa site but pls let me do it yeah I beg u))) feel free to skip if u don’t like.
Damn… I’m a sucker for romance psychological theme and this is one of the best so far (and I read countless of novel).
What Woojin did is fucked up beyond crazy, but questioning and forcing moral to someone who was born with APD/psychopath is like forcing born-blinded person to understand the beauty of color. It’s not like they’re ignorant, but they simply don’t have the ability. So tricky.
However, cos Woojin ended up falling in love with Haewon, then probably he was not full-blown APD. The best portrayal of APD to me is still held by Kang Moo of The Beast Must Die which the ending story was so bittersweet, but still…
If we keep debating Woojin’s APD behaviour, the debate would be endless, but the main reason why this novel is absolutely amazing is that throughout the story, I got sooo many layer and moment of “whatt..?” “Oh wait what??” “Omg seriously wtf???”. The truth after truth unfolded crazily… Happy that I read without exposed to spoiler…
And then, it was adapted to manhwa with INSANELY GOOD artwork with almost no comical expression. It captures eerie-ness of the plot. Got me chills when reread the part where Woojin asked Haewon on how much did he know about Taeshin, now that I know what was on Woojin’s mind, wanted to dig Haewon’s knowledge about the bunker. Rereading all the chapters after understanding what’s on Woojin’s mind really gave new experience as if reading the manhwa for the first time. The way the creator draw Woojin’s eyes is top notch, it captures description of dark gaze as described in the novel.
Can’t wait to see the final blow where Woojin was desperately holding on Haewon, to the point that calculative sociopath deliberately ruined his own life by beating shit out of people and turning himself into jail. But I wonder whether or not the manhwa will take plot shortcut, cos up until now, it was just around 20% of the whole novel.
Looking forward for the next chapterzzz
I came here after binge-read the full novel and mind blowed by it… sure Woojin was crazy strong esper, but the highlight of the story was truly Jaechan.
I understand very well that manhwa and novel are different media so can’t compare those two. I don’t hate the manhwa and still entertained by it, but I’m sure the manhwa won’t even bring a close justice to how badass Jaechan actually was. Bro just proved himself as James Bond of MI6 and Tom Cruise of Mission Impossible.
I’ll keep waiting for season 2 while reread the novel again argh…
Stop reading my comment if you want to enjoy the story without being affected by what others thinking. This is my own observation, feel free to think differently. I warned you ok.
I just finished the whole novel and annoyed as hell. I like the premise so much to the point I was willing to binge-read the novel in one go. There was not a single damn development on Muhyuk at all. The dialog didn’t flow. Always dismissed after one or two sentences exchange, all characters seemed not interested talking what was on their mind and shut each other out with “I don’t wanna hear” or “shut up, you’re annoying”. A lot of questions didn’t answered and just brushed off.
Muhyuk often described as expressionless and indifferent until the end of stories. Yes he did cry but because he didn’t show emotion development throughout the story, the moment he cried just came so unnatural. The writer really pushed hard the idea of Kim Muhyuk the stongest, know-it-all and rude esper to the point I find it hard to emphatize with him cos it was really pushed til the end.
Hajung always try to find truth here and there just to realised Muhyuk always ahead of him knowing it all. There was no equal footing there. The main cause of the conflict was obsession, and Muhyuk, the supposed to be the ML, also show nothing but obsession, the irony. The moment Hajung confessed his true identity, I thought there will be a change in Muhyuk’s emotion, nope nope nope still expressionlessly do whatever he wants without proper communication with Hajung. I know the charm of a rude main character, but if it was written with no development, not just Hajung, the reader would be also kept in the dark of the intention.
I’m wondering (genuinely, not sarcastic) what’s BL manhwa’s obsession with fate. I’ve seen a lot of stories with sudden revelation that the MC and ML had accidentally or briefly crossed path long way before the main story begin and then they reunited by fate. Don’t care tho, cos fiction is just fiction in the end, the author can write whatever. Just wondering.
Nah bruh, when I continue to read this manhwa again from chapter 26, I thought I am the one who had amnesia…
If Jiho ends up with that blue hedgehog, I’ll smash my face. Hopefully NOT.
I can’t remember the last time I am burst laughing like this bahahahhaha he’s so gold
Ok I’ll bury this until we get 15 new chapters, or else I won’t able to hold myself to voodoo that scumbag doctor
I often re-read this whenever I want some peace… anyway, props to the translator! It’s not official version but it’s pretty clean nice to read *mwah
“Don’t read it cos it’s just 23 chaps and a season finale… think about cliffhanger, you’ll regret it…” - me to myself
“Yeah… but whatever!” - also me to myself
“Shidddd I need more!!!” - me after 23 chaps
Many people has defend Muheun but let me chip in as well…
Tf is grooming. I’m sure the premise of the story is they’re bounded by long fate that’s why they both felt strange closeness even at the very young age, then Muheun began to GET SCARED of it and RAN AWAY from home. He keeps his chill until the LEGAL AGE Seungjoo kissed him first. Even after that, Muheun still has HARD TIME back and forth with his conscience before accepting it fully. Not to mention during all those process, he’s doing his best TO PROTECT Seungjoo to the point even it kills him probably literally and not literally.
It ain’t sunshine and rainbow, don’t expect every BL story in this 18+ illegal site only has fluffy and upright story. Again, this is not even friggin grooming at all, see my comment above. For me personally this manhwa is quite sweet thooooo whyyyy… but I guess whatever, can think all you want, having opinion is free, but that wont change the fact I love the couple so much…
I already suffered a lot from the finale, then why the hell just a minute ago I had the courage to read the side story… damn ninja cutting onion, see y’all in theraphy…
Hey, I read this a while ago and I know the story is quite… fucked up… I wanna read again but don’t wanna walk past the crazy shit happening. What’s the best chapter to read this again when there’s a change in ML behaviour? Well, is there even a turnaround like that here?
I’m such a dummy to just realised why the art hypnotized me so much aside from those killer cold stares is actually it has no chibi or comical drawing. I don’t see any as far as I remember cmiiw
Damn one of the best chapter I’ve ever seen. The storytelling and the emotion and the art OF COURSE it’s all mwahh *chef kiss
