Yaoi readers: who reads yaoi?

Russian-Korean, currently living in Moscow but moving soon (for uni). I'm 18 and started reading yaoi around a year ago, so I was 17. It's funny bc my love for yaoi started with doujinshi, but now I don't particularly like doujinshi and very rarely read it. I'm female and straight, and seriously don't understand my love for yaoi ╮(￣▽￣)╭......
