His hesitation makes sense. He’s spent almost his entire life under the thumb of his brother. He was never allowed to have an identity of his own. Never allowed to have friends, never allowed to have literally any normal relationships at all, completely missing out on a crucial part of human development via social connection and observation. So of course he’s a bit emotionally stunted and doesn’t know what he himself wants or what it means to have a partner. He has a long way to go in terms of developing his own self esteem and sense of self. He’s going to need a LOT of support and patience

Didnt care for the bottom’s (Seiji’s) personality. The “tsundere player” persona works in some stories, but I don’t think it was a good match here for Haru’s emotionally reserved/ atypical personality. It felt like he was constantly trying to analyze/ dissect Haru, and he even accused him of being manipulative when HE’S the one who’s trying to steer their interactions. Getting mad that your date didn’t call/text first because you wanted to dump him personally? What? Yuck. Can see this relationship having a lot of issues in the future, most of them caused by Seiji. I really don’t get what drew Haru to Seiji in the first place, I wasn’t buying the chemistry at all. Honestly the cheerful single dad next door would have been a more interesting love interest, I hate that it wasn’t about him and Haru. Lol
Another cornball uke sabotaging their own relationship for some dumbass reason. ( ̄∇ ̄")
