what will her punishment be? They cannot cut off any of her body parts knowing that she is a princess so what will happen?
Read a bit up to chapter 83 on a MTL site so I can tell ya what happens if you want to know. Punishment is what we'd consider light, but for that type of era not so much.

After making sure the kingdom would punish the princess in a "Just" manner, they send her back where she shifts the blame to her loyal maid, Jane, who ends up executed. I honestly pity the maid, she was such a loyal person, but just had to be loyal to the wrong person. Moving on, the King punished his daughter by locking her in a high tower and dropping the death threat that if anyone spoke one word about her to him, even his own son was under this threat. The marquis that had come to try and get the princess out before being conned into making sure they punish her with surprise Priests from the Holy Nation to listen to this vow; he was too afraid to tell his King that there is a threat of a war from our protective Kay.
Her sister was sent back with their father in time to be punished by the empire. His little bribery was found and all the crimes racked up. They were going to be executed, but with reasons they avoided this end, and instead they were stripped of their title, demoted to Viscount, all property was confiscated and were given a small home in another land entirely. The father didn't even get the chance to take any of this in as the stress was too much that he died on the spot when he was handed the news. The stepmother and sister were just not having it and tried hard to hold on to their home until they were physically removed.
On a bright note, Kay accepts a rank upgrade to Duke I think it was, will have to double-check when the translations come out. I just know it was a rank upgrade.
