Yes, that's understandable, but what's NOT even a little bit acceptable is that he dropped a bombshell and THEN just took off without giving him a chance to process or respond.

He intentionally drew a hard boundary and maintained HIMSELF as only a secretary for twelve years, while secretly pining after someone that he never truly showed himself to, which is wildly selfish in and of itself, then he crossed that boundary, changed the relationship and broke it off as it they were both participating. And has the audacity to think the other person should suffer for his own actions. It's immature, irresponsible, and selfish.

If he really loved him that much, then he would have said that he had a better job offer in France and he was going to pursue that instead not, "I know I never brought it up, but I've been in love with you and kept it secret and never gave you the chance to love you back, but I'm going to abandon you for not doing this thing that you never knew you even had to option to do, so I don't have to take any responsibility for my own choices."

What a fucking loser. Men like this are the absolute worst. If it was depicted as him doing this to a woman, you'd all be calling for his execution. The fact that he's doing it to a man doesn’t make it ok.

Even if he did say he liked him 10 chapters back or 5 years back, they would still have parted because he said that to his boss, it would have been awkward either way.

Jooan has quipped that Seojun does everything that he might as well liked him - was that a hard boundary that Jooan already mentioned it? He noticed but eventually chucked it down the drain. So it's not a secret...it's just the other party refuses to sit on the idea a tiny bit more because he's not worth thinking about in that manner.

He's literally sitting on the idea, right now. He started "sitting on it" literally as soon as it was mentioned to him. We just didn't get to see it because baby boy hauled ass as soon as he let the cat out of the bag. He out HIMSELF in that situation. These comments are a reflection of how society has abandoned personal responsibility.

Seojun could have done it way better but had he done it the other way around, I don't see the outcome would be that different. Either Jooan would have dismissed it or Seojun would have resigned or taken a VL because it would have been awkward. But the comfort that he'll be around will not make Jooan think about it.

Baby boy is sitting on it NOW because Seojun left. Like his mom left the house so he's scrambling what to do for food, laundry etc. Had he helped around the house, he would have known what to do. It's that concept.

Killing is actually much more sensible behavior. And there was no reason before for Jooan to believe that Seojun wasn't just doing all that because it's his job. All I'm explaining is what I said in my original comment reply. If you claim to love someone for years and then leave them for who they've been the whole time, then you never loved them in the first place.

Seojun's actual fault here was he waited too long. He should have left with or without finding Hajin and not made it up to 10 years. Him hurting himself was his fault.
