So many manhwa I've been reading had the art change recently I wonder if something's going on actually. Either way I'm not the type to drop just cuz a style changed. As a fellow artist I can't blame them if they leave or have worse quality since manhwa deadlines are brutal as shit. I can't say I blame some people for leaving but I think it's pretty harsh for this one since the change is so small most of us didn't realize until someone else noticed.

very much so. and for op; i think it's more how these webtoon publishers are working. they're not treating their authors and artists super well. not all of them; but some have had some pretty shit "scandals" (but the publishers never really face trouble; it's always the authors, artists, and readers who suffer.) so in this case; all i saw so far was that they only contracted the og artist for 40 chapters. it feels pretty weird to me to only sign someone for less than 1 seasons work buuuuut.....who knows. could be the publishers being shits again or could be the artist had other things going on.
Yeah there a big problem with manhwa only temporarily having an artist because they aren't sure of the comic success. Especially since most that do action series like this seem to mainly be done with teams from studios. Also I kinda misspoke but while the art change is noticable, I don't necessarily think it's a downgrade some of the other comments seem to think it is. The characters are still very recognisable, there's no major change to characters style or anything. Personally I don't feel the change was very noticable but that's just my opinion.

i kind of wish these studios would do the opposite and start with ok art and then if it succeeds and they NEED to change it; upgrade it????? but honestly; leaving it all alone is the best. If the story is good enough it will usually succeed so they should have realized by now that investing in the well written ones is the way to go.
