Red Head seme (RH) was stabbed by one of the guys who raped uke under orders. The ex girlfriend who married the chief of police (now in congress) put the hit on uke bc Hotel Guy ("greenhouse" this, "wildflower" that) didn't get rid of uke. RH went to save him and ended up in the hospital. Right now, we're in the middle of an investigation of the two bodies the main couple killed in the beginning. The bodies were found during a construction project, puting ex girl and her husband in a tight pickle and preventing them from "destroying and gentrifying" the red light district. The police have evidence of the ex girl's involvement (cd rom) that was swept under the rug bc bad cop wanted a promotion and chief want to enter congress; both came true. Uke gave CD to bad cop. Good cop was forced to stop investigating but much later made a deal with RH to protect uke and help take ex down. So at the moment, uke is looking to seek revenge for putting RH in the hospital just as they were about to run away together (ex saw them hunchin' in their new whip uke bought). Now, if you need a synopsis of the characters or a more in depth summary (like about the earlier stuff), I can do that to if anyone wants it~ For now, I hope this helps~
how was kim seung tae involved again? obv besides being in charge of moms case from the past.. what were his interactions w uke? and how did good cop know him (good cop is the brown head right?)

Long story short, he's the one I call Hotel Guy (≧∀≦)~ He's the one in charge of a new hotel that they want to add a brothel to. Which is why he was trying to hire uke (without seme) to oversee. 1- bc uke has experience. 2- he has a crush on uke and 3 - to keep uke under a watchful eye bc girl asked him to "get rid of" uke. After the stabbing, Hotel guy finds out she meant she wanted him to kill uke and not just to make uke disappear. He is technically in kahoots with the girl and knows her bc their groups are working together. But with the uke and Han (the new "prostitute" that uke likes and took under his wing; kind of looks like uke but if uke had kept his innocence) around hotel guy, hotel guy is realizing what true love is and is in the middle of have a change of heart. He has trauma that revolves around his pride bc of his family, so he always thought money could buy him everything. Uke and Han are the only ones that put him in his place when he acts out. Han also stabbed Hotel guy when he tried to force himself on uke. So hotel guy's snake tattoo is "missing an eye"

Yes~ good cop is brown head, officer Kang. Kim seung tae is Kang's brother's old partner. When Kang met Kim at the benches outside the police office, Kim Tae said he had just resigned from the police force bc he was "tired of playing nice"; we still don't know what he meant by that. So far, we only know he had something to do with the uke during his time at the brothel. It's been pretty vague. I don't think we know exactly what he did to the uke (I can't recall it if they did) but that whatever he did, illicit a strong reaction and maybe caused the uke some trauma according to the uke's flashbacks. I think we'll be finding out soon tho~ it's seems next chapter might shine some more light on their relationship
