What in a yaoi manga would make you regret reading it?

Just a sh* tty story in general. After so many years I've gotten more intoned with what I like, so I try to avoid mangas that have things not appealing to me, but if I have to say something that makes me regret I read it would be a story that starts off a certain way and somehow switches gears.
